A smattering of the day’s heavy metal news in one convenient post…

Three brand new songs, Dowth 2059, Biróg's Oath, and Balor, are available for streaming on Suidakra’s Facebook page. All three songs are off their forthcoming album, Book of Dowth, which is scheduled for release on March 25. Book of Dowth will be the band’s tenth studio effort since their formation in 1994.

Zakk Wylde’s Black Label Society will release an acoustic album, titled The Song Remains Not The Same, on May 3rd through Entertainment One Music. The album will feature unplugged tracks from their latest record, Order of the Black, as well as other songs written and recorded during that same period. Video game power metallists, Machinae Supremacy released the following video for the track Force Feedback yesterday. The song appears on the bands latest album, A View From The End Of The World, which was released in November of last year through Spinefarm Records. 

Machinae Supremacy, self-described as SID Metal (power metal mixed with SidStation, the SID chip in Commodore 64s) has released a total of five full-length’s since their formation in 2000.

From their latest album, Edge Of The Earth, watch the video for Empyreal from the U.K.’s metalcore/thrash outfit, Sylosis:

Edge Of The Earth was released on March 11 through Nuclear Blast Records.

Angantyr, Wodensthrone, Belenos, and seventeen other premier European black metal outfits have been confirmed to appear on an upcoming tribute to Enslaved. The album, entitled Önd - A Tribute, will feature a total of twenty bands covering Enslaved tracks spanning the band’s twenty year (thus far) career. Release details are to follow shortly but in the mean time you can have a look at the confirmed acts for this tribute below.

And Finally… Right now the tracks Origins and Inner Slaves from Oriental metalists, Arkan can be streamed at Blabbermouth and RadioMetal respectively. The songs come off the band’s forthcoming sophomore album, Salam, which is set be release on April 18 through Season of Mist.
