A smattering of the day’s heavy metal news in one convenient post…

Romania’s blackened folk metal juggernauts, Negură Bunget have made a brand new track, La Marginea Lumii (At The Edge Of The World, according to Google Translate), available to stream over at ReverbNation. The song is off the band’s forthcoming Mini-CD, Poartă De Dincolo, which is set to release on April 25.  Check it out here

From Brazilian metal troupe, Hibria’s third full-length release, Blind Ride, the track Shoot Me Down was given a video treatment and released as such today. Watch:

Blind Ride was released on January 26 though King Records. If you haven’t already; go get a copy today, it’s really quite good.

After the jump: new videos from Suidakra and Melechesh and some interesting Metallica rumors…

-----

Suidakra is totally forgiven for releasing the kind of video I usually loathe (live shot) because this song fuckin' slays. Look:

This track, Stone of the Seven Suns, is off of Suidakra’s tenth studio album, Book of Dowth, which is out today! Go get it. I haven’t gotten the chance to hear it yet, but I’ll tell you preemptively that it is awesome and you need it, and I will gladly eat my own shoe should the very unlikely event occur in which my usually most-sagacious advice on these matters proves to be wrong.

Melechesh released the following video for the track Grand Gathas Of Baal Sin that appears on the band’s fifth studio release The Epigenesis. Take a look:

The Epigenesis was released last year on October 1st through Nuclear Blast Records.

There are some rumors that the guy who founded Napster might be buying Metallica’s record label… but as I was research and writing this I ran out of fucks to give. You can read the story here.
