New Music Streaming from U.D.O. and Amorphis

The Metal Call Out Compound’s loins are all moist over this year’s amazing projected heavy metal releases. Here are a few new tracks released today from just two of many awesome bands that have albums on the way.

Finnish melodic metallers, Amorphis are just about all set to release their new album, The Beginning of Times, on May 27 through Nuclear Blast Records. From this album they’ve released the track My Enemy for streaming on their Facebook page. In this track you’ll hear more “growled” vocals than in the previously released track You I Need (also on their Facebook page) but they’re both quite reminiscent of Amorphis’ 2009 album, Skyforger. Which, I suppose, can be a good or a bad thing...

U.D.O., the German traditional heavy metal band fronted by the mighty Udo Dirkschneider (ex-Accept) have released three new tracks available to stream in their entirety on AFM Records Soundcloud. The tracks, Rev-Raptor, Leatherhead, and Rock’N’Roll Soldiers, will appear along side ten others on the forthcoming U.D.O. album, Rev-Raptor.

Rev-Raptor will be available on May 20 through AFM Records.

Enjoy and, as usual, let us know what you thought in the comments section.
