Drudkh: To Release New Album Next Year

In a concise statement on their official website, French record label Season of Mist announced the return of Drudkh with a new album, entitled Eternal Turn of the Wheel, scheduled for a February 28 release in North America.

Had Drudkh never released Handful of Stars I think I could get myself more excited for this but it was just such a letdown that I can barely muster a semi. Who’s to say that’s not just the new Drudkh and this next will be another hipster-pandering travesty?

You can’t.

So I guess we’ll all just have to wait and see. In the meantime; Drudkh does have a pretty extensive back-catalogue of amazing releases, starting with Microcosmos and working back, you should check out if you haven’t yet.
