Angantyr: New Album On the Way, Song Streaming

Last month, as part of our Shiny Pennies reviews, I introduced everybody (or at least those of you that didn’t know already) to a band by the name of Angantyr. Remember that? Well, it’s recently come to my attention that this one man black metal machine is about to release a new album this month and I, for one, couldn’t be more stoked.

The album, titled Svig, was initially set to drop September 3rd, but according to the Northern Silence Productions web shop, it looks the the 17th of this month is actually the magic date.

While we all wait with bated breath, Angantyr mastermind, Ynleborgaz, has been kind enough to  release the title track from the new album on his MySpace page for all to stream. He actually did this quite a few months back but I clearly dropped the ball, constantly checking the Northern Silence site for updates but never thinking to try the band’s actual page until today. Still, better late than never.
