Album Art Spotlight | Bathory- 'Blood Fire Death'

Share

Our spotlight on album art comes to us this week from Bathory's prolific 'Blood Fire Death' album. 'Blood Fire Death' was the bands fourth studio album and continued in the path toward the 'Viking Metal' sound found in later records. The artwork for the album is a section of a work called Åsgardsreien by the Norwegian painter Peter Nicolai Arbo who is perhaps most well known for is Norse mythology inspired paintings.
