Wintersun: New Album News... Sort Of

How many times have we been told Wintersun’s new album, Time, would be out “next year”? Five times? Six? Well, whatever your count is, prepare yourself’s for another telling. Wintersun drummer, Kai Hahto, showed some signs of life on saturday when he announced on his personal Facebook page that the band would be playing four shows in May next year and quote: “ Time has progressed very well and we hope that we can start mixing in December.. but the shows are confirmed and after the new album is out we start playing more actively... let’s just see what happens next year. :)”

So there you have it. Mixing in December, a few shows in May; my money’s on an April/May release. Or, you know, next year...
