Blackguard Signs To Victory Records

Share

This should stun and upset a few of you out there; it seems that Canadian mega-tourers, Blackguard have been dropped from Nuclear Blast Records and announced today a deal inked with Victory Records. I would be remiss to not mention some of the abysmal acts that  Blackguard will now share a label with: Aiden, 1997, Emmure, Hawthorn Heights, and Silverstein just to name a few.

Good for them...

I digress. I actually really like Blackguard -- a few of their albums, anyway -- and wish them all the best... but Victory? Really? I don’t know if that was a good call on either party’s end.

Early this year Blackguard recorded an album expected to be released by Victory sometime in February 2011.
