Blackguard Parts Ways With Keyboardist

Again? Yes.

Lots of changes are surrounding the Canadian folksters, Blackguard, this week. Not least of which is a head scratch inducing decision to sign with Victory Records but most recently the departure of their keyboardist, Jonathan Lefrancois-Leduc.

According to the band Lefrancois- Leduc left of his own accord, amicably with the rest of the band to pursue other endeavors.  In the same statement, that band has indicated that they will remain a five-piece for the foreseeable future.

You can catch Blackguard on tour now (I don’t know where they found the time to write a new record with all this touring) with Nevermore and Warbringer. After that they will embark on another trek with Epica and Scar Symmetry followed closely by another, this time with Deicide, Belphegor and Neuraxis

Touring their sweet 'lil asses off, aren't they?
