Arsis is a technical death metal band formed in 2000 by James Malone and Mike Van Dyne in 2000. Currently signed to Nuclear Blast Records, Arsis has never really had a solid line up, as James Malone prefers to use session musicians for recording. In 2007 Mike Van Dyne left the band for a short time to finish his medical degree. Currently Arsis is:

From the bands technical prowess, to songwriter, James Malone’s melodic yet brutal composition style, Arsis is not a band to be taken lightly. Their latest album “We Are the Nightmare” is an all out assault of sickening duel -guitar riffs, classical sensibilities and powerful sweeping solos.
