It’s no secret among my friends and probably anyone that reads this blog regularly that Immortal is one of, if not, my favorite bands. From Diabolical Fullmoon Mysticism to All Shall Fall, they can do no wrong in my book. Ask any one of a multitude of people who have seen me practice crab walking (truthfully it came pretty natural) after seeing the All Shall Fall video or butchering Immortal riffs on my acoustic guitar; they’ll tell you. Sadly, despite all this, I’ve yet to see them live. They rarely come across the pond and when they do it’s usually no where near to where I live. For shame,
Immortal Nuclear Blast. Unfortunatly the tour they announced this morning might be the exception to my usual ill luck because one of the stops isn’t too far away this time...
Oh didn’t you hear?
Immortal is coming back to the States (!) for a six stop tour beginning in New York and wrapping up in San Antonio. This is the final time Abbath and Co. are going to tour the U.S. for All Shall Fall so if Immortal is your cup of blackened tea I’d recommend securing yourself some tickets, stat. They’re also bringing Absu along for the ride so there’s further motivation (as if you needed any more, amirite?) to head out. Check out dates and ticketing information after the jump.
