Swallow the Sun is:   Matti Honkonen- bass Markus Jamsen- guitar Mikko Kotamaki- vocals Aleksi Munter- keyboards Juha Raivio- guitar   Apparently, Swallow the Sun is huge in Finland, with their single “Forgive Her…” peaking out at number 4 on the Finnish Top 20 singles charts. Here stateside, there is significantly less fanfare, which is a crying shame being that Swallow the Sun is a band worthy of much more American appreciation. 2007’s “Hope and 2009’s “New Moon”, are shining examples of simply great records. Impressive production, composition, and musicianship brew strong- and what culminates is a band with longevity and purpose, not to mention a very happy Deathscript. Fans of melodic metal rejoice, Swallow the Sun is here, and has been for sometime.   For fans of: Novembers Doom, Hanging Garden
