Signed to Candlelight Records in 2007, Forest Stream’s style is heavily influenced by the harsh Russian winters as well as Norwegian black metal. Their second album, “The Crown Of Winter” is what ultimately sold me on this band. Choosing a departure from the doom/goth metal “norm”, “The Crown” incorporates elements of experimental metal- a testament to the bands creativity.
