Slayer Signs with Nuclear Blast, Releases New Song and Offers Free Download

The one and only Slayer have been busy this morning.  First they have announced that they are signing with Nuclear Blast Records.  Nuclear Blast will release their new album set for an early 2015 release date.

The owner of Nuclear Blast had this to say about the deal:

I was a teenage rebel when 'Show No Mercy' came out and I identified with that record. It was the most extreme, aggressive thing at the time. They were then and still are the most brutal metal band on the planet! I really cannot express how proud I am that we are able to work with Slayer to join the Nuclear Blast family. We are ready for that next record and, I'm sure it will go into metal history!

At the Revolver Golden Gods wards show in Los Angeles, Slayer performed a three song set that included a brand new song "Implode".  This is the first studio recorded song for Slayer in the last five years.  Take a peek at it below.

Love the song?  Head over to [slayer.net] and you can enter in your email address and download the new song "Implode" for free.

Kerry King has this to say about the free download:

Hey, Mutherfuckers - You have been waiting for us, now we are delivering for you. We’ve got a brand new song - “Implode” - it’s Slayer's first new song since “World Painted Blood” was released back in 2009 - and we want you guys to hear it, so we’re giving it away for free. All you have to do is go slayer.net/implode, enter your email address and we’ll send you the download link. We’re writing and recording more new music, so keep coming back here and we’ll tell you how it’s going. And hey, we’re hitting the road next month with Suicidal Tendencies and Exodus - WE WANT TO FUCKING SEE YOU THERE!
