The brand new album, One For Sorrow, from the Finish melo-death masters Insomnium has been made available for streaming, in its entirety, over here by Inferno.fl.
Needless to say we’ve been pretty excited about this release since its announcement and I’m happy to tell you-- not but six tracks in, by the way, but with confidence-- it is not disappointing. The album kicked off with a sweeping instrumental, titled Inertia, which gives you a pretty good idea where the album is heading, and has continued on true to Insomnium’s outstanding form from there. Barring some unfortunate, and completely unlikely downward pitch towards the end of the record, One For Sorrow looks to be Insomnium’s darkest, most brooding, and perhaps most excellent album to date.
Plug: We’re giving away two copies of One For Sorrow to two lucky readers this month. All you have to do to get your name entered in the drawing is follow this link and leave us a comment under the post. The contest ends on Friday so get your entries in stat!
