Gwar Guitarist Found Dead

Yesterday morning Gwar guitarist Cory Smoot (pictured above), also known by his stage name Flattus Maximus, was found dead on the band’s tour bus as they prepared to cross the Canadian Border.  There is no word yet as to the cause of death but a full statement is expected soon.

According to the Edmonton Journal, the band will perform as scheduled this evening at the Edmonton Event Centre.
