New Limbonic Art Album- Phantasmagoria

Share

News of Limbonic Art’s forthcoming album Phantasmagoria has been scarce at best, and it can be argued further that the band has seldom received the fanfare and recognition they deserve. For fans of Limbonic Art (such as myself) this album is an exciting one. The band hasn't released anything new since 2007’s A Legacy of Evil and as great a record that may have been, three years without anything but a couple of ‘best of’s’ can feel like a very long time.

I was able to listen to the band’s new record over the weekend and all I can say until I write a proper review is “damn”. The band took it back to their roots a little with this record, and out of all their albums it probably reminded me of Ad Noctum (perhaps their greatest?) the most. Stay tuned for a proper review.

Phantasmagoria is set to drop on July 19 through Candlelight Records and those of you that know, will know to get your hands on a copy of this puppy when it does.

Phantasmagoria is really good it took me about three listens to get the album, but easily one of the best releases of 2010.
