Spiritual Beggars- ‘Turn the Tide’ Music Video
I’m a little leery when a bunch of ex or current-(insert a handful of well-known band’s names here) musicians get together and form a band. I have a right to that. Remember 2wo?
Spiritual Beggars is a different story though. Look at their pedigree: ex and current members of Arch Enemy, Opeth, Carcass, Mercyful Fate, Firewind. Look at their output: eight elbums, some live DVDs, etc. Look at their longevity: 19 years and showing no sign of stopping.
Now, can someone please spot them a little cash for some better videos?!
First there was the video for Wise as a Serpent, it came out earlier this year as a single off their new album Earth Blues. Now there’s this (from the same album):
Maybe it’s a stylistic choice, I can dig that, but I’m also dizzy and won’t be watching it again anytime soon. Love that Deep Purple sound though!
