This Metal Tribute To Michael Jackson is Shaping Up To Be Pretty Terrible

The press release called it “one of the most depraved abominations of musical crossbreeding in history”. I’m not sure if they were actually trying to sell us on it or they’re just painfully aware it’s going to be shit-- it is called Thriller- A Metal Tribute to Michael Jackson.

Featuring Chuck Billy (of Testament fame), and some other dudes from some other bands, Thriller will be out tomorrow and features the following classic MJ tracks reimagined by “a scarily impressive alliance of metal and hard rock luminaries” (not my words.):
