CRIMSON SUN Reissue THE BORDER EP; Announce Appearance at TUSKA OPEN AIR 2016
Hailing from Kotka, Finland, female-fronted quintet CRIMSON SUN play kick-ass modern metal with an ‘in your face attitude’. The band will perform on the Inferno Stage at Tuska Open Air Metal Festival 2016, Helsinki, Finland on Saturday, July 2nd at 4 pm.
Some of the bands performing at this year's 2016 edition include Anthrax, Avantasia, Testament, Children Of Bodom, Behemoth, Delain, Gojira.
Maple Metal Records is re-releasing their 2013 EP 'The Border' to coincide with Crimson Sun’s performance at the metal fest on July 2nd.
The 4-track EP was produced by CRIMSON SUN and Saku Moilanen at Deep Noise Studios, Kouvola, Fi.
The EP was recorded by the same line-up that performed on their highly praised debut album ‘Towards the Light’, that was released worldwide by Maple Metal Records last year.
Crimson Sun was founded in 2001 by guitarist Joni Junnila, and the band went through various member changes before settling down with the quintet that recorded their EP ‘The Border’ and their debut album “Towards the Light” in 2015.
