More Sad News || Ex-Twisted Sister Drummer Joe Markowski Passes Away

According to Modern Drummer, Ex-Twisted Sister and Good Rats drummer Joe Markowski passed away on April 14 at the age of 57. News of his passing only surfaced Sunday when Modern Drummer gave a brief statement, no word yet on the cause.

Markowski, also known as ‘Fast Joey Brighton’, played with Twisted Sister for two short years in the ’80’s but is perhaps best known as a potent drum teacher in the New York area in the 70’s.
