Judas Priest Announce Farewell Tour

Share

This morning I had what must have been an inspired hankering to listen to British Steel. So I did. And now Judas Priest is dominating the metal presses with the announcement of that they claim will be their “final tour”. I used quotes there because I’ve been a fan and bloggist long enough to have seen my fair share of band’s retiring only to come back in a few months but, who knows, maybe they mean it and that means that should you be able to afford the time and money, seeing the Priest for (what could be) one last time live is advisable.  The tour, dubbed Epitaph Tour, will be hitting all the major cities in the world where the band will play songs spanning their  entire 40 year career, is set to kick off in June of 2011.

Check out the dates announced thus far after the jump and stay tuned for more on this development soon.

9th June - Sweden Rock Festival, Sölvesborg, Sweden
11th June - Sauna Open Air, Tampere, Finland
