Insomnium Inks Deal With Century Media Records

Century Media Records announced today that Finnish melodic death metallers and Metal Call Out house favorites, Insomnium have signed a worldwide deal with the company. This of course means more exposure for a band well deserving but more importantly, a new album! The band will enter the studio before the year is out to begin recording material for a new album scheduled for a 2011 release. 

This news may also mean (fingers crossed everybody!) the possibility of a larger US tour than the band has been able to deliver thus far. Perhaps more dates? Venues? Somewhere within like 500 miles of here? Please? 

As the band stated in a press release today “A new exciting chapter in the story of Insomnium has begun!”  Stay tuned.
