For some time now we have been keeping tabs on Floridian death metalers The Absence, waiting anxiously for anymore studio updates in regard to their follow up album to ‘Riders of the Plague’. Finally some news came from the Absence camp, but not in the jovial spirit we had hoped for; instead Blabbermouth reports the following
“Justin Reynolds, drummer of the Tampa, Florida melodic thrash outfit The Absence, was involved in a bad automobile accident last week in Sarasota, Florida. Justin sustained injuries to his neck and back and totaled his car”
They continue to report that local musician Matt Solka has filled in Reynolds position for the time being. All I can really say is that the Metal Call-Out team wishes Justin all the best and we hope for a speedy recovery and return to music. Be sure to send Justin your good vibes, best wishes, prayers or whatever it is you do.
