Savage Sword || Live Footage

Last weekend Sparks and I took a little drive up to Salt Lake City to see a local metal band that goes by the name Savage Sword. I had the privilege of talking with their guitarist, Battleforge (who you’ll see rocking the holy hell out of the flute at the beginning of this video), a number of times  before this but kept missing the shows because of scheduling conflicts. Luckily everything worked out this time around and I couldn’t be more pleased as it looks like there’s going to be a bit of a long wait between this show and their next. Anyway, rather than go on and on about how good everything was I’ll just let the video speak for it’s self. Metal bands like this are a far too rare of an occurrence in our humble state so we gotta show some hometown love. Enjoy!

*What you wont see in this video, but I’m hoping we can get the footage of processed, is the crowd’s bombastic and nearly cinematic participation when the band wreaked some metal havoc on Lady Gaga’s hit single, Bad Romance.
