New Video || Sabaton- Uprising

When I woke up this morning the very first thing I though was how much I needed some cheesy power metal to kick start the day... Ok, that’s not entirely true. The first thought to enter my mind this morning was that my alarm clock seemed unusually loud and how pissed I was it woke me from my sweet dream of having to diffuse a bomb strapped to the chests of three busty ladies. Then, after shaking off the rage and alarm I thought, “I need some cheesy power metal to kick start my day”

Luckily for all of us Sabaton released a new video for the the track Uprising off their most recent album Coat of Arms. To make matters better the video features an appearance by Peter Stormare aka the creepy russian mobster from Prison Break, also of 8MM and Fargo fame.  The band describes the video as “a powerful and emotional tribute to those who lost their lives in the Warsaw uprising in 1944”. No explanation of the matching camo outfits is given (or needed, dammit).

You might think me snarky, but the truth is I love Sabaton and this video is actually quite good. I’ll take a plot and some drama over aggressive camera angles of a band playing in a warehouse/forest any damn day.
