The opening track, Black Sabbath, on Black Sabbath’s Black Sabbath is the very definition of heavy metal.
Released in 1970, one could argue that this record has influenced, in some way or another either directly or indirectly, every single other heavy metal album to follow. That’s how important this record is and that’s why this is one album that every fan should own and have played through at minimum dozens of times.
