Hatebreed and Cannibal Corpse are teaming up this winter to headline the "Decimation of the Nation 2" tour. Hatebreed is touring in support of their self titled CD. The tour will kick off November 6 in Ohio and run through December. The tour will also feature Hate Eternal, Unearth, and Born Of Osiris. Cannibal Corpse bassist Alex Webster said, "We are psyched to be on tour with such a killer line up of bands. Tours where all the bands are extreme but also have their own style are always great, and this line up definitely fits that description. We expect these shows to be some of the most intense ever…see you all in the pit!"

I spent the better part of the weekend reading Harry Potter and listening to various new albums from several different bands. Born of Osiris's sophomore release, "A Higher Place" didn't have a ton more to offer than their first album--that's not to say that it was bad. I quite enjoyed it, I just couldn't escape the feeling of "been here before". The whole crew are all talented at their instruments and I was happy to see the addition of more riffs as well as a remake of some older stuff.
