The Cool Tour...Coming to a City Near You

I always get bothered when I see stuff like this. I don’t really have anything against any of the bands on this tour per say, but I believe it a grave injustice to stick Between the Buried and Me on tour with the likes of UnderOath and The Acacia Strain (who’s name I didn’t realize until today isn't The ARCADIA STAIN). At any rate, UnderOath shouldn't have to put up touring with such low-brow and talentless acts like Between the Buried and Me. UnderOath are legends, shit they should have their own tour. They ARE the Cool. </sarcasm>
Anyway, the so-called 'Cool' tour, in all its un-coolness, kicks off in Orlando on July 12 and will finish up in California on August 1st. You can see all the dates of the tour as well as the full lineup after the jump.
I Wish I Were in Helsinki || Metaltown Festival Dates and Line Up

Remember this segment? This is where I bitch about not living close to shows I want to see. Right now I'm bummed I cannot go to Sweden's Metaltown festival, recently confirming heavy hitters like Amon Amarth, Between the Buried and Me, In Flames and Dark Tranquillity. This year's Metaltown festival is set to take place in Gothenburg on June 18-19. The list of bands that will play is ever expanding, but you can see the names of those currently confirmed here or here.
Between The Buried and Me, Mastodon to Tour | Dates
Tue, 02/09/2010 - 17:28 | by JDeathscript
The rumor mills has been busily spinning away tales of a Mastodon/Between The Buried and Me tour and now it can be confirmed. In April Mastodon, Between the Buried and Me, Baroness and Valiant Thorr will head out on the open roads in what will be, I'm sure, a cross country hipster-fest. The spring tour will focus mostly on smaller venues and cities this time around; Mastodon has said that it will "bring the band to the fans in American cities that have yet to experience the 'Crack the Skye' live event." Dates after the jump.

Three's new album, "Revisions" dropped yesterday sans much fanfare. Last month was marked with great metal releases a-plenty and though this month wasn't quite so marked, we saw the release of both Three's and Between The Buried and Me's anticipated albums. I am not going to bother mentioning Atreyu's, "Congregation of the 'Wankers'" and Between the Buried and Me's release was just 'ok' for me so I decided to give the much under appreciated, Three, a top spot. Go buy this album, Three is on top of their game and you wont be disappointed.
In Flames Concert Review

When you think of a metal concert tour and what cities will be hosting you probably wouldn't think Boise ID. But apparently I was wrong. This last weekend September 19, In Flames was in Boise ID and bringing with them was Between the Buried and Me, 3 Inches of Blood and The Faceless. I made a road trip up there to check out the show.
