Personal notes

Only a few days ago I woke up, I saw no clouds in the sky and I suddenly decided to go to San Gimignano, a medieval town in the middle of Tuscany where time stands still. It took me 3 hours, 2 buses and 2 trains, only to reach it, but it was worth it.
Today there was no blue up there, only clouds, I went to the local market, I read a book about the Aztech civilization, I listened to some music but mostly I ve spent too much (fun) time online.
Then tonight I popped into the gaming section of this forum, which brought me back to the days I played baseball simulation non stop. Those things stimulate one's mind, only afterward you recognize the misery you have drowned into. You get up, even though your ass melted down with the couch/bed and you look at the mirror and you see the unshaved ghost of yourself.
The machines will not dominate me, cyberdine sistem features facebook, myspace, msn, all sorts of ways to lock you inside. This is it. A woman reminded me how funny I am, and it's time I have some pleasent conversation in bars, with non-alcoholic drinks and the laughter of my own girl alongside me.
Firefox, Skynet Explorer, Opera...self imprisonment sucks and I will fight my lazyness. You can blame weather now, what's your summer excuse? If you are reading this, you are the Resistance.

Well said, and if anyone is guilty of this it's me. I think I may just go for a walk without the ole' media player.
I wish there was a medieval town around here, America is so young. Sometimes there are fairs though, in which I get in touch with my European roots and get conned by shitty games.
